Mamry is the clear, deep northern basin of the Masurian chain. Pike hold on the weedy bays and shallow shelves from autumn to spring, perch hunt in schools through the summer and into winter, and whitefish occupy the deeper, cooler basins. Anglers target all three from boats; shore access is limited by reeds and private plots.
How to fish it
